Experience
I have over 20 years of tutoring students from pre-k to college. I have had a wide variety of classes in my education as a Liberal Arts major. I also used to publish my own little magazine, which featured other people's and my own writing and artwork. I am interested in being a tutor, because I have a strong interest in children. I also like to help people. I love learning and sharing what I have learned with other people. I like to nurture learning in students and help them to grow in their own natural abilities, as well as to help them in areas in which they may be struggling. I think learning should be a life-long adventure, rather an insurmountable obstacle. I also do volunteer work at my church (Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, Children's Nursery, Women's Club, and Emergency Food Pantry). I also volunteer at the local library.
